Common Ground

Sam shrugged again and started picking at the cuticles.

Gabriel huffed. "Okay. Let's do it this way. Pick a hand, kid," he said, holding out both his hands.

Sam looked from the left one to the right one and slowly pointed at the right one.

"Awesome," Gabriel grinned, and held out his hand for Sam to take.

Sam hesitated. He didn't have Dean here to tell him whether it was safe or not. Slowly slipping his small hand into Gabriel's, he bit the inside of his cheek.

"I got you, don't worry," Gabriel smiled, toning it down a little. He wasn't insensitive. "C'mon. I'm showing you the Garden of Bacchus. It's beautiful. Just like you, Samshine," he offered with a grin.

Sam blushed heavily and walked with Gabriel.

Clay laid back in the sun and smiled.

Hannah came out of her barrack and looked around.

Andrew walked towards the common grounds and looked back for Luke.
Clay closed his eyes and stretched out.

Hannah noticed a guy laying on the ground and walked over. "Hi. I'm Hannah." she said.

"Oh.. Hi " He said as he opened his eyes and looked over "I'm Clay."

"I'm pretty new here. What about you?" Hannah asked and sat beside him.

"I was born here" Clay said.

"Really? Do you know every nook and cranny?" she asked.

"I know most of it" Clay said.

Luke walked up behind Andrew, still shivering, looking around.

Hannah nodded. "Do you like it here?" Hannah asked.

"Okay so since you're knew here you will be staying in the boy's side of the Probatio Barracks, if you have any questions you can ask Callie, she is out Praetor" Andrew said "She in the first cohort, she had short hair can be intimidating and annoying but I guess she is not bad all the time but don't let her know I said the last part I would never hear the end of it."

Clay nodded with a shrug "yeah, but it all I really know."

Luke nodded slowly. "But... what is this place? I don't understand. Camp for what?"

"It's a camp for demigods, children of the roman gods" Andrew said.

"Yeah, okay, thanks, and all, but you're crazy." Luke tugged off Andrew's jacket and held it out. "I'll be fine on my own."

Andrew shrugged and took his jacket back "fine suit your self, this is what I get for trying to be nice."

Luke scoffed and pulled his own sodden jacket round himself. "I'll be seeing you, or not, nutter," he scoffed.

Andrew rolled his eyes and went to train to blow off some steam.
