"Evidently," the stranger drawled, starting to walk off, making sure the wind was behind him so it wouldn't blow off his hood.

Callie tried to keep her cool, balling her hands up at her sides and cursing under her breath. As the person in charge basically, she had to show maturity and not get into a bunch of fights.

The stranger chuckled to himself, somehow knowing exactly which strings to pull.

Callie stalked inside, slamming the door behind her and earning a glare from Morge. She sat in a chair with a huff and stared at the new kid.

Morge quietly checked on Luke and smiled slightly. She hoped he would stay and give her a chance to explain.

The stranger walked off, satisfied.

Luke flinched at the slam, shrinking back into his cot.

Morge gently ran her hand over his head to soothe him and shot another glare at Callie who just sighed.

"I want to go home, Morge," Luke murmured timidly.

"I know. Let's get you better first, okay? Then we'll talk about getting you home safely." Morge said, smiling at him gently.

Luke turned into his pillow to hide his tears, hunching up under the covers.

Morge sighed softly. "Where's Jupiter when you need him.." She muttered and then brought him another blanket.

Michael sighed softly. "Could he come down to talk to him? Would he?"

"He might. But not with an audience. Callie. Out. Michael, come help me in the back." Morge said and Callie did as she was told, not seeing the manly figure that had appeared at Luke's bedside, behind Morge. Morge moved to leave the toom, glancing at Luke one more time.

Michael obeyed, ducking his head and ruffling his own hair softly.

Once the trio was out of the room, the figure stepped closer to the bed. "Get up, boy. No son of mine cowers." the God said firmly.

"I'm not your son," Luke mumbled into his pillow, not even glancing up.

"Believe it or not, son, I am. Your mother would be telling you the same thing if she were here." Jupiter said.

"Well, she's not, so sod off," Luke complained.

Jupiter chuckled. "Luke. Come on. Enough. You're a big boy now. Don't whine like a baby." he said.

"I am hallucinating my absent douche of a father because there are crazy people here and I have probably been drugged, don't you tell me to grow up," Luke huffed.

"I will tell you to grow up. Because you're acting like an infant. The only crazy person in this room is you. All of these people are telling you the same thing, yet you refuse to even look into it more. Open your mind, son. This is the world you live in." Jupiter said and shot a little electricity at the kid, just enough to zap him. "Its reality, not a hallucination."

"Leave me alone!" Luke yelled,

With a chuckle, Jupiter sat on the edge of Luke's bed. "There we go. Now we're sounding like father and son." he said.

Luke flinched away, pulling his body as far from his father as he could.

"Why are you not accepting this for the truth?" Jupiter asked quietly.

"Because it's not." And he didn't want to it to be.
